DemoPro with Stream Deck

Set up an Elgato Stream Deck with DemoPro and every annotation tool, color, or action is a single Stream Deck keypress away.

Before you start

DemoPro has no Stream Deck plugin to install. Instead you map its hotkeys onto Stream Deck keys with the Stream Deck app’s built-in Hotkey action, which works with any app.

Download the DemoPro Icon Set for Stream Deck first — it contains a ready-made icon for every tool, color, and action.

Configuring Stream Deck

1 — Set DemoPro to Toggle mode

On the DemoPro menu, set drawing tool activation to “Toggle”.

2 — Open the Stream Deck app

Go to the Stream Deck app, or choose “Configure Stream Deck” from the menu bar.

3 — Pick a key

Click the key that you want to configure.

4 — Drop a Hotkey action onto it

Drag Hotkey from the list of actions and place it on the key you want to map.

5 — Give the key an icon

Drag and drop the icon you want to use, or click the chevron and select “Set from File”.

6 — Assign the hotkey

Assign the Hotkey to match what you have on the DemoPro menu.

Repeat for each key

Repeat steps 3 to 6 for each key that you want to assign.
